If you haven't heard, effective March 1, 2022, Microsoft announced that the Extended Human Resources and Payroll suite of modules for Dynamics GP would no longer be offered directly through Microsoft. Instead, they have passed the torch back to the developer and Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Integrity Data, active in the Dynamics community for over 25 years. This announcement does not impact the Core Payroll and Human Resources package provided in the Microsoft Dynamics GP Starter Pack, other than removing Payroll Extensions.
After years of working together, both companies have decided that Integrity Data is better positioned to evolve the strategy and product's future. Therefore, the decision to transition seemed to be the natural course of action.
The modules included in the Extended HR and Payroll suite are:
- Advanced Payroll
- Advanced Human Resources
- PTO Manager
- Benefit Self Service Suite
- Payroll Extensions
If you are a current user of these modules, Microsoft will discontinue charging maintenance fees upon your first renewal following March 1.
What does this mean for you?
Suppose you are a customer of Microsoft's Extended HR and Payroll suite. In that case, your support and upgrades will need to be transitioned over to Integrity Data over the coming year. You can register with Integrity Data on their transition FAQ page or ask your GP partner to write you. Microsoft will continue supporting existing customers who already have licenses through March 1, 2023. After this date, customers will need to reach out to Integrity Data for support.
Any Dynamics GP users who wish to begin using the Extended HR and Payroll suite modules will need to purchase through Integrity Data.
