User profiles
The User Profile dialogs, accessible only from the Activity System node, allow you to maintain your email address and password. When you access your user profile, the dialog presented depends on the current context. For example, if there is no email address on record for you, you are presented with a dialog which offers the Update Email action.
How you update your email address and password varies somewhat depending on how you log into ActivityHD. Expand the link that corresponds to your login method.
- Right-click the Activity System node.
- From the shortcut menu, select User Profile.
- Click Update Email. An Email Address field is presented.
- Enter a valid email address.
- Click Submit. You are advised that a confirmation token is required.
- Click OK. If the email address is valid, a confirmation email is sent to the address and a Confirmation Token field is presented in the dialog.
- Enter the confirmation token.
- Click Confirm. The email address is confirmed and updated.
- Click Close.
If an email address has been entered on your user record but has not yet been confirmed, when you open the User Profile dialog you are prompted to confirm your email address.
- Right-click the Activity System node.
- From the shortcut menu, select User Profile.
- Click Confirm Email. An Email Address field is presented with the current email address which is on file loaded.
- Change the email address if necessary, then click Submit. You are advised that a confirmation token is required.
- Click OK. If the email address is valid, a confirmation email is sent to the address and a Confirmation Token field is presented in the dialog.
- Enter the confirmation token.
- Click Confirm. The email address is confirmed and updated.
- Click Close.
- Right-click the Activity System node.
- From the shortcut menu, select User Profile.
- Click Update Email. An Email Address field is presented.
- Enter a valid email address.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Click Submit. If the email address is valid, a confirmation email is sent to the address and a Confirmation Token field is presented in the dialog.
- Enter the confirmation token.
- Click Confirm. The email address is confirmed and updated.
- Click Close.
If an email address has been entered on your user record but has not yet been confirmed, when you open the User Profile dialog you are provided an opportunity to confirm your email address.
- Right-click the Activity System node.
- From the shortcut menu, select User Profile.
- Click Confirm Email. An Email Address field is presented with the current email address which is on file loaded.
- Accept the current Email Address.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Click Submit. A confirmation email is sent to the address and a Confirmation Token field is presented in the dialog.
- Enter the confirmation token.
- Click Confirm. The email address is confirmed and updated.
- Click Close.
Users who log in using a username and password can change their passwords.
- Right-click the Activity System node.
- From the shortcut menu, select User Profile.
- Click Change Password.
- Enter your Current Password.
- Enter a New Password.
- Re-enter the new password in the Confirm Password field.
- Click Change Password. The password change is confirmed.
- Click Close.
